Interior is the standard black vinyl seats, and equipped with options such as,
an ultra rare Ford dealer add-on air conditioning unit, fold down rear seat,
map light, parking brake warning light, and accessory door sill scuff plates.
This Mustang is powered by the standard 200 CID six cylinder, an oddity
in the Sportsroof bodysyle. Most Limited Edition 600s were ordered with
the six cylinder engine. This promotion was more show than go.
The six was more profitable for Ford, and the main objective of the
promotion was to increase foot traffic in the Philadelphia area dealerships.
Other dealer options include, hood pins, door edge guards, and a trunk light.
Other upgrades I have performed over the years are the addition of a 1" front
sway bar, an export brace and 6" 4-lug wheels. The driveline remains stock. I have
driven this car over 120,000 miles and completed the total restoration myself.
